Welcome to Active Polish Community
Our biggest potential is people who can change things around them, help others ad teach how to support those who are disadvantaged. We want to show possible ways to develop, solve career problems and integrate with local community. We would like to leave our mark in public life, culture, create good conditions of life for Poles in Great Britain.
Life as a immigrant is sometimes really difficult, Polish people often isolate themselves, don't socialize with local community. There are different reasons responsible for that - language barrier, low self esteem, lack of social skills, etc...
People from Active Polish Community are trying to solve all these problems.
Our mission is to identify the needs of the Polish community in Britain and their implementation through the activation, education, promotion, animation, help and support the most important spheres of life in exile.

| Promotion of all aspects of Polish culture, in particular the Polish language, customs, history, literature, cinema, music and art. |
| Promoting healthy and active lifestyle through sports activities, healthy eating, fighting addictions, recreation and leisure. |
| Promotion of good relations with other cultures, nationalities and religions, which are involved in building a cohesive society of Great Britain. |
| Supporting animating and charitable activities for the Polish community in Great Britain. |
There are many volunteers who work for us, who thank to their education, knowledge and experience are able to help Polish families to adjust.
Active Polish Community is also organizing activities for children and youths - boxing, dancing lessons, and for small children playgroups to integrate them and help them to relax.
In November 2008 a group of activist and 'rebels' established Polish organization which main tasks are integration and education of Polish community in Great Britain. This attracted other people who want to became activist and take part in Active Polish Community.
We registered and made our organization lawful. Now we would like to concentrate on making our goals reality, being active. If you have any ideas, you want to do something in your neighborhood or even just for yourself, join us. It is better to do anything than nothing.
We would like anyone, who in the future will join our society, to take part in English course and any other courses which can help getting new qualifications and develop new skills, use advise offered by specialist and activists working for Active Polish Community.
We would like to invite everyone who needs help, wants to work on good relations between Polish and British people or share passion, experience and knowledge.
